If you believe Azriel is next, it's most likely going to be so he's supporting the journey of a female character. They've been the love interests who supported the journeys of the female leads such as Feyre and Nesta. Mind you, Rhys and Cassian never received "their" own books. Moreover, readers have been saying Azriel's book is next because of the bonus POV. If SJM wants to delve into new characters, she'd have to wrap up on the arcs of the previous ones first such as Elain and Morrigan. But that doesn't mean Gwyn won't get her own book, I just believe she's not next because there is a lot of textual evidence that points towards Elain. SJM won't skip an Archeron sister for a new character (sorry). The ACOTAR series are known for holy trinities that come in threes. This book is most likely going to be about Elain Archeron, the fawn, the seer, and the kingslayer. Please only read this with an objective perspective and open mind, regardless of your opinions on what ships/characters you like. Quite disappointed that many ACOTAR fans reduced strong and powerful women down to a ship by pinning them against each other.
